Food Group

I have always wanted to write a book about an unusual period in my life, but I know I need help getting it into a proper structure. I have never worked with a writer before, so I am unsure what the relationship normally looks like. I am considering whether to hire a professional ghostwriter. Does the writer usually interview you first and build the story from your answers? I would be interested in hearing how other people kept control of their own ideas during the process.
