Saguni Tamil Full Movie HD 1080p

Saguni is a Tamil political satire film directed by Shankar Dayal. The film features Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles, while Santhanam, Roja, Prakash Raj, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Nassar appear in supporting roles. The film was released on June 22, 2012 and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Shakuni and released on the same day.

Plot

The film revolves around Kamalakannan (Karthi), a simpleton from a village who comes to Chennai to save his ancestral property, which is being taken over by a corrupt politician Boopathi (Prakash Raj). Kamalakannan meets Rajini (Santhanam), a taxi driver and his loyal friend, who helps him in his mission. Kamalakannan also falls in love with Sridevi (Pranitha), Boopathi's niece, who is engaged to another politician Ramani (Nassar). Kamalakannan uses his wit and intelligence to outsmart Boopathi and his cronies, and eventually becomes the kingmaker of Tamil Nadu politics.

Music

The music of the film was composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, who collaborated with Karthi for the third time after Aayirathil Oruvan and Siruthai. The soundtrack album consists of five songs, written by Na. Muthukumar, Annamalai, Paramu and Viveka. The songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Saindhavi, G. V. Prakash Kumar, Baba Sehgal, Priya Himesh, Shankar Mahadevan, Karthi, Vel Murugan, Chorus, Pushpavanam Kuppusamy and Maya Manikandan. The songs were well received by the listeners and became chartbusters. The songs are:
